Well, unlike the other purchasers I have loved this fryer. It's so compact but adequate for two portions of food and easy to store. I have had no problems with leakage of oil (yikes) and the only time the oil came too high up the interior was when I overloaded the basket - my error. I've had it for ages now and when I purchased it, it cost only around £13.00. Even at its current price, I think it is well worth the money.

This item is great, it does just enough for 1 person, easy to use, clean and the filter is good too.
Well worth the money

I bought this for my parents who wanted a small fryer. It is definitely small ok I would say for one person. It seemed to leak oil straight away from somewhere underneath. We had it replaced but this took a long time and I had to arrange everything myself a real nuisance. It works ok but the handle is very difficult to attach to the basket when hot. Not very impressed at all.

I wasn't too impressed with this fryer and have just replaced it with a Delonghi. Even with the oil level below the "max" marker and when just cooking chips for one, the oil boiled right up and over the edge of the fryer! It didn't seem to keep it's temperature hot enough and it took ages to cook chips for one.
