a good fryer with differant settings for differant foods,easy to use,one draw back hand can be a bit flimsy when emptying food out off basket,ideal for cooking large quantaties of food,cleaning also a bit of a problem would have been better to have a drain tube,but other wise money well spent,

Received the fryer and immediately set it up to make chips as per the manual. 190deg C for 6 minutes. Our Maris Piper potatoes were burnt dark brown and inedible. Tried again at 160 deg C still no better. we think the thermostat is faulty and the jam thermometer indicated temp was +10 deg C over that indicated. The unit is basic and oil removal was by pouring it out.
The manual was pathetic - like a photocopy! There was no real recipe cook book - zilch - just the manual indicating 'recommended' temperatures. Surely Delongi company wants customer satisfaction - not a flung together package. We were misled by the nice picture of the unit but this purchase was a big mistake. Will be contacting Delongi tomorrow for replacement.
