Donal Morphy and Charles Richards started the company that bears their names in 1936, with radiators and irons being the first appliances they produced. Toasters followed in 1949, and hairdryers in 1953. The company expanded even more throughout the ups and downs of the next forty years, with a range of items so extensive, 90% of all UK households have at least one of their products.
Their deep fryer range created a new market sector in 1993 with the introduction of a model with a removable (and easier to clean) tank. |
