Bill Russell and Peter Hobbs founded their company in 1952 with the world's first fully automatic coffee pot. This was followed three years later with an automatic electric kettle. Today they have not just coffeemakers and kettles, but toasters, irons and cookware. Plus food steamers, slow cookers, breadmakers, microwaves, and of course, deep fryers.
Russell Hobbs is currently owned by Salton, along with well-known brand names like Black & Decker, George Foreman, Toastmaster and Farberware.
